About the artist
I was born in Hamburg and am an artist working in contemporary realism. My paintings are created in acrylic on canvas, combining realistic subjects with subtle abstraction and carefully considered compositions of color. Painting has been part of my life since childhood, and I have always felt naturally drawn to the animal world, particularly to horses. Having spent nearly 20 years in equestrian sports, horses always played a constant role throughout much of my life and, quite naturally, found their way into my art. Over the years, painting has become my most important means of expression. At the heart of my work are inner processes, personal growth, and the complex experiences that come with change and the process of becoming. Rather than seeing my paintings as finished narratives, I understand them as spaces for individual perception and reflection. Through my art, I aim to create moments of pause, allowing viewers to reconnect with their own emotions and form a personal connection with each work.
Creating Utopia
A utopia is often defined as something that exists within the imagination before it becomes reality.
For a long time, my personal utopia was the dream of sharing my art with the world and of one day building a life around it. With my painting UTOPIA, I transformed that dream into reality for the first time. Released in December 2024 as my debut work, it marks the moment when a vision became a tangible step toward becoming real. Since then, this piece has held a deeply personal place in my heart, as it represents the beginning of my journey as an artist.
